Kankakee, Illinois rap artist ‘P-Huncho:’ talks about his upcoming journey. Growing up he was most inspired by artists like Dr. Dre, Eminem, G Herbo, and Lil Durk. He started off as a producer at the age of 12 and from there, his start as a rapper began although he didn’t show off his talent until around age 14-15. His mom seen that he had a talent for music so she enrolled him in a program that taught him how to make beats and he was off from there!

The Illinois rapper uses his gifts for more then just fame and he looks to get his message out to the world. His first barber and family friend were killed due to rising gun violence in his city. Not only has he chosen to rise above the negativity but, he continues to put all his pain into his songs lyrics. Later this year P-Huncho: would like to release a single titled “Pain Away” and a few more to follow.

The rap artist did things like sell shoes to keep up with his music hustle and it’s paid off and continues to pay off. He also has a slot on the highly anticipated independent artist compilation project “The Next Ones Boomin!”, (hosted by Drama Squad Jay) and that will be dropping later this summer. One day he hopes he can secure a feature from artists like Meek Mill, J Cole, Big Sean, Lil Durk, Drake, and G Herbo.

Stay tuned for what’s next to come from P-Huncho: !
