LOS ANGELES, CA, July 16, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — ‘SWEET (Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair) 2022’, where you can meet core technologies and products of new renewable energy such as wind power, solar power, hydrogen fuel, energy storage system (ESS), and smart grid, is held on July 6th at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju.
This exhibition, which was held for 16th time by this year, will be held for four days until the 8th. Hosted by Gwangju City, Kimdaejung Convention Center, KOTRA, and Korea Energy Agency, and 250 companies from 30 countries are participating to present the future energy ecosystem and development direction.
Large companies such as UNISON, BA Energy, and Scotra, which are leading the domestic industry, will participate and exhibit the latest renewable energy products and solutions that will realize carbon neutrality such as solar cells, modules, inverters, power generation systems, and energy security.
Korea Electric Power Corporation will participate in PR pavilion and form the ‘Korea Electric Power Shared Growth Pavilion’ consisting of partner companies and energy valley contracted companies. Busan Techno Park will also participate as a joint pavilion by recruiting and supporting participating companies.
Six power generation companies, including Korea Southern Power, form the ‘Korea Power Industry Center’ with about 60 small and medium-sized enterprises related to new renewable energy such as solar power (thermal) and hydrogen to support market development of energy for small and medium-sized enterprises.
In this exhibition, 10 conferences and seminars in the energy sector, including ‘GPVC 2022 (Global Photovoltaic Conference 2022)’ hosted by the Korea Photovoltaic Society, will be held. In addition, the ‘Mutual Growth Fair’ hosted by Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership will be held at the same time to hold a one-on-one purchasing consultation between large corporations and public institutions in charge of technology/purchasing and small and medium-sized enterprises.
They have strengthened the program for participating companies with ‘company-tailored consultations’ such as purchase consultations between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises and export consultations to expand networking opportunities and achieve real business results.
Sang-mook Kim, president of the Kimdaejung Convention Center, said, “This event will be a place of various exchanges and communication as it is the center of new renewable energy business of Korea, and it will be a good opportunity to see the present and future of the new renewable energy field.”
SWEET 2022 provides the largest business opportunity and network formation of new renewable energy companies in Gwangju, the center of the energy valley. SWEET, which has been with the growth and development of the new renewable energy industry since 2006, acquired the UFI certification for the first time in Korea in July 2008. In addition, it was selected as the 11th promising exhibition by South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as the only new renewable energy exhibition in Korea and is the only exhibition in Korea co-hosted by KOTRA.
