Stephanie Carlson is a designer who specializes in high-end resort wear. Stephanie possesses a passion for designing for the curvy woman’s body and is based in Denver, CO. Being a curvy woman herself, she is constantly challenged to find high quality clothes that fit well and make her feel beautiful. This motivated her to attend the Art Institute of Colorado, where she was the first person to ever create a plus-size senior collection. She then apprenticed with a successful designer who is a specialist in the plus-size market. Stephanie was the lead costume designer for several short films, and her collections/creations have been featured in Denver theater productions. Stephanie loves the challenge of perfecting the fit and choosing the right fabric. The curves of a woman’s body are the starting point and the focus of her designs.

She carefully chooses the type of fabric she uses to develop her patterns all the way to the beautiful finishing touches. The bright colors and bold patterns of the flowing knit fabrics drape beautifully on the body, creating the most optimal silhouette while concealing the parts of a woman’s body that she wants hidden. Stephanie has listened to women who are struggling to find just the right thing to wear.
