Dog Lovers to Enjoy Art Event in Fort Worth’s Newest Design District on Saturday, March 16, 2019
FORT WORTH, TX, March 12, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — St Patrick’s Day weekend promises to be a howling good time for Ft Worth dogs and their graffiti-art-loving owners. Dogs and owners can frolic in the Golden Triangle Dog Park, a multi-acre canine playground in the heart of the new Fort Worth Design District.
Art-loving owners can watch several national graffiti artists compete for a cash prize by creating billboard-sized murals with inspirational, family-friendly themes at the Second Annual Graffiti Art Festival that will be held in the Fort Worth Design District at 1953 Golden Heights Road on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 11 am to 4 pm. The artists’ canvasses will be shipping containers that are part of Box Office Warehouse Suites, the innovative business park at the center of the design district.
“We’re dog friendly with a great public dog park and a variety of dog-friendly businesses in the new design district,” said Jim Eaton, VP of RDS Real Estate, the developer of the Worth Design District. In addition to the contest, the event will include arts-and-crafts vendors, food trucks and music.
Festival attendees can also do the Snap and Share Art Walk, a series of interactive murals that are ideal for snapping selfies or other photos to share. Couples on the art walk will want to visit the Love Locks mural where adding a lock to the display is part of the fun.
Visitors to the festival can also take free tours of Ft Worth business spaces for lease at Box Office Warehouse Suites, the innovative eco friendly shipping container business park and shop at the retailers in the district.
Sponsors will be raffling prizes throughout the event, including a one-hour Lamborghini Driving experience donated by Sponsor Fort Worth Car Storage. Admission to the event is free.
